Dashboard
A dashboard is a management screen that visually aggregates information collected from multiple data sources into graphs, charts, and figures so that the situation can be grasped on a single screen. It is the same idea as a car's dashboard, which lets you check speed / fuel / engine revolutions at a glance.
The dashboard of a QR code management platform displays the trend in scan count (daily / weekly / monthly), the regional distribution of where scans come from, device type (iOS/Android), scan patterns by time of day, conversion rate, and so on. When you run multiple QR codes, you can also compare performance code by code.
The condition for an effective dashboard is that the metrics (KPIs) tied directly to decision-making can be understood at a glance. In QR code marketing, the main KPIs are scan count (reach), unique scan count (actual number of people), conversion rate (results), and cost per scan (efficiency). The ideal design displays these as a time series and issues alerts for abnormal values.
