QR Wait
A free queue system: guests scan a QR code to join, and you call them from a single phone.
- There is no fixed limit on how many groups can wait at once unless the shop sets one. Check-ins cost nothing either.
- Guests are never asked for a name or phone number.
- The guest screen follows the phone's language: English, Japanese, Spanish or Chinese.
New shop sign-ups are sometimes paused.
Get started
Register your shop
Enter a shop name, a language and the largest party size, and you're ready. No email or account needed.
Put up the poster
Print the poster from the owner screen and post it at the entrance.
Call from your phone
Staff open the waiting list on a phone and tap "Call". The number appears on the guest's screen.
How calls reach each device

No sound plays while the screen is closed or locked.
Declining notifications does not affect your place in line.
What the shop can change
- Waiting list limit. Check-in pauses when full and reopens on its own when a spot frees up.
- Whether to ask for party size.
- Whether guests being called see "Please come within N minutes of being called" on their screen.
- How many parties ahead should trigger a "You are almost up" alert.
- Whether to close check-in automatically at a set time. It never opens on its own.
- Whether guests see how many parties are ahead.
- You can pick one of 4 reasons for pausing check-in (shops that set a waiting list limit pause on their own when it is reached). Guest screens show the following text.
- We're full. Please wait a little while
- We're getting ready
- We're on a short break. Please wait a little while
- Check-in has closed for today
- The waiting list is full, so check-in is paused. It reopens on its own when a spot opens up
- Messages to guests are chosen from set phrases. Free text is not available.
FAQ
Does it cost anything?
No. There is no set limit on how many groups can wait at once, and the guest check-in screens show no ads.
It says new shops can't sign up right now
To stay free, the number of shops is capped. Please try again later. You can still use "Try it without signing up" in the meantime.
Why not ask for names or phone numbers?
Calls appear on the guest's own screen, so contact details aren't needed. Data we never hold can't leak.
I'm not getting call notifications
On iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later, add the page to your Home Screen, then tap "Get call notifications". If you opened it inside another app, reopen it in your browser.
What if my shop settings disappear?
Use "Save a backup" on the owner screen to keep a backup file. "Restore from a backup file" brings them back. The file works as your shop's key, so don't share it. A shop is removed one year after its last activity.
Is there an estimated wait time?
No. Order can shift with party sizes and open tables, so we show only how many parties are ahead.
