QR Order
Works even if you run the place on your own. Guests order from the QR code on the table, and you accept orders on your phone. No sign-up, no cost, ready in minutes.
What it does
- Send, accept and serve orders
- Move tables and combine bills (split them back any time)
- Cover charge (guests × price), service charge and tax
- Sold-out items: just for today, and until further notice
- Guest screen in 4 languages
- Orders aren't lost on a bad connection
- Save and restore a backup of your settings
- Show recommended items and the time left until last order on the guest screen
Add the same options to many items
- When many items share options, like drink serving styles and curry spice levels, you make an option set just once.
- Turn on “Whole category” and the set is added to every item in that category at once.
- Edit a set once and every item using it changes. You can still add options to a single item.
Highlights
- Combined bills split back exactly as they were, orders and totals included.
- The guest screen shows three amounts: this order, orders from that phone, and the whole bill.
- Guests can cancel before you accept; after that, they ask and you decide. Accepting and serving can be undone for 60 seconds.
- New orders come with a count, a sound and a vibration. On iPhone, sound works after the first tap.
Three screens
- Guests: scan the table QR code, order, and check the bill
- Staff: hear new orders, accept and serve them, and manage tables
- Manager: set the name, menu and tables, and print the QR codes
Notes
- It's free. There's no limit on tables, orders, and staff phones.
- There's no limit on restaurants either. To prevent abuse, you can create up to 3 a day.
- No payments. Guests pay at the register.
- Prices and tax display are the restaurant's responsibility (in Japan, displayed prices must include tax by law). This site only delivers orders to the restaurant and handles neither payment nor checkout.
- Bills become unavailable 10 days after checkout and are deleted within about 2 weeks. Checkout and sales records are kept by your register.
- A restaurant expires 1 year after its last use.
How to start
- Enter the name, menu and tables
- Print the table QR codes and place them
- Scan the staff QR code with each staff phone
FAQ
Do I need to install an app and sign up?
No. Guests and staff use the browser. The manager uses a private link to manage the restaurant.
What do I need?
Just a phone (tablets and PCs work too). Print shops and saved PDFs work for printing the QR codes too.
Can someone order after leaving?
Orders are only possible while staff have the table open. After checkout, ordering stops.
What if I can't open the settings screen any more?
Your backup file or the printed manager QR code can restore it. iPhone may clear the stored restaurant information after 7 days without use, so keep a backup.
Does it work for foreign guests?
The guest screen switches between Japanese, English, Spanish and Chinese. You can enter item names per language.
What if the connection drops?
Selected items stay. A sent order is shown as sent only after it's confirmed.
Does it connect to POS systems and printers?
No. It's designed to be used alongside paper order slips.
