Barrier-Free
Barrier-free design removes physical, institutional, and psychological obstacles in daily life. For QR codes, this means placing them at wheelchair-accessible height (100-120cm), adding tactile markers for visually impaired users, and maintaining at least 4:1 contrast ratio.
Critically, barrier-free extends to the destination page: screen reader compatibility, resizable text, and keyboard navigation. A perfectly scannable QR code is meaningless if the linked page is inaccessible.
