QR Code Invoice

A QR code invoice features a QR code printed on utility payment slips or business invoices. Scanning with a smartphone banking or payment app auto-fills the amount and payee, allowing direct payment processing.

QR code invoices allow payment from home without visiting a convenience store or bank. In Japan, the eL-QR (unified local tax QR code) printed on local tax bills is one example.
