Deep Link

A deep link navigates directly to a specific screen or content within an app rather than a website's top page. Storing deep links in QR codes launches the app on the scanner's smartphone and directly displays the target screen.

For example, scanning a restaurant's QR code opens the venue's page in a dining app, or scanning an event QR code opens the ticket app's entry screen. Combining with fallback mechanisms for uninstalled apps (Universal Links, App Links) that redirect to web pages is standard practice.
