vCard

vCard is a standard format (RFC 6350) for structuring contact information including name, phone number, email address, and postal address. Storing vCard data in a QR code automatically adds the contact to the scanner's smartphone.

Widely used for business card QR codes, it eliminates manual entry effort and errors. vCard can also include company name, job title, website URL, and social media accounts, conveying more information accurately than a paper card.
