rMQR Code

rMQR Code (rectangular Micro QR Code) is a rectangular QR code standardized as ISO/IEC 23941 in 2022. Unlike traditional square QR codes, rMQR codes can be horizontal or vertical, fitting on labels, tubes, wristbands, and other narrow spaces where square QR codes won't fit.

Developed by Denso Wave, it achieves compactness by reducing finder patterns to one, similar to Micro QR codes. Maximum data capacity is 361 numeric or 219 alphanumeric characters.
