QR Phishing

QR phishing (also known as quishing) is a phishing scam that exploits QR codes. Attackers place fake QR codes over legitimate ones or include malicious QR codes in emails and flyers to redirect victims to fraudulent websites.

Countermeasures include verifying the URL displayed after scanning before accessing it, avoiding scanning QR codes posted in public places without caution, and using security software.
