QR Code Point Card

A QR code point card is a digitized version of traditional plastic loyalty cards. Points are earned or redeemed by having the QR code displayed on a smartphone scanned at the register. It eliminates the need to carry multiple cards in a wallet.

For stores, it removes card issuance costs and enables data-driven insights into customer visit frequency and purchasing trends. LINE's shop card feature and various point apps are representative examples.
