QR Code Health Pass

QR code health passes electronically present vaccination records or negative test results via QR codes. During COVID-19, they were adopted worldwide, including the EU Digital COVID Certificate and Japan's vaccination certificate app.

QR codes store digitally signed data including recipient information, vaccine type, vaccination date, and dose count. Verifiers can instantly confirm certificate authenticity by scanning. Unlike paper certificates, they are difficult to forge and facilitate cross-border mutual recognition.
