NFC

NFC (Near Field Communication) wirelessly transmits data over distances of a few centimeters. Simply holding a smartphone near an NFC tag opens URLs, saves contacts, or connects to Wi-Fi.

While QR codes require optical camera reading, NFC works by proximity, making it usable in dark environments and more accessible for visually impaired users. However, NFC tags cost more per unit than printed QR codes, and some smartphones lack NFC support. Ideally, both QR codes and NFC are provided so users can choose their preferred method.
